REV. EMMY R. KEGLER is the pastor of Grace Lutheran Church
in Northeast Minneapolis. She believes deeply in the use of creativity,
imagination, and kinetic learning to pass on the faith and the stories
of Scripture. She lives in Saint Paul and enjoys biking, board games,
books, beer, and babysitting her fiancée’s dogs.
AQUEELAH LIGONDE is an enthusiastic speaker and leader for
today’s generation of women, girls, youth, and leaders. She has worked
with organizations such as Princeton Seminary Institute For Youth
Ministry and Youth Specialties. She is a Staff Consultant with Ministry
Architects. For over a decade, she served as the Associate Pastor
at the First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, Queens, NY.
KEVIN ALTON is a Christian ministry creative, collaborating in
writing, editing, web development and social media efforts all aimed
at exploring and shaping the spiritual development of youth. Kevin
is currently pursuing a masters of psychology at the University of
Tennessee at Chattanooga. He has written, coauthored, and
contributed to several books. Recently he and his wife Britta wrote
Don’t Forget to Flush! A Bathroom Devotional for Kids. You can find

family near Chattanooga, TN.
BRITTA ALTON has spent over two decades advocating for and
ministering to families and children through vocation and
volunteerism. She loves finding ways to build strong character
in children of all ages, with her two wonderful boys being her
most vital effort. She and her husband Kevin wrote

JASON BRIAN SANTOS is the Mission Coordinator for Christian
Formation (Christian education, children, youth, college,
young adult, camps and conference ministries) at the
Presbyterian Mission Agency. He is an ordained teaching elder
in the PCUSA and holds a Ph.D. in practical theology
from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is the author of A
Community Called Taizé (IVP, 2008) and After Paradise (IVP
Academic, forthcoming). He currently resides in Louisville, KY
with his wife, Shannon and his two sons, Judah and Silas (aka Tutu).
In his spare time, he plays and designs board games.
MARY LINDBERG is an ELCA pastor who lives in Seattle, Washington.
She has written curriculum for Augsburg Fortress for many years,
including Spark, Holy Moly, and Whirl. At one time Mary served as
a children’s pastor; now she works as a chaplain for older adults.
Mary and her husband have two grown daughters.
SARAH LOGEMANN is a Masters of Divinity candidate at Princeton
Theological Seminary. She has spent the last thirteen years working
in congregations in Seattle, Ohio, New Jersey, and New York City
engaging children, youth, and young adults in spiritual formation.
A former ballerina, Sarah is interested in connecting movement,
stories, and faith. She loves wondering, running, and watching
the Tour de France.
REBECCA NINKE is mom to Reid and Kate, married to Dave.
A host of pets made her children appear to be human Swiffers
before they could walk. She works as a freelance writer/editor
and a Lutheran pastor in the Madison, WI area. Her greatest
professional accomplishment is not dropping a cuss word in
the pulpit in 20 years. Her idea of fun is running, biking,
rollerblading, and adding rooms onto treehouses.
J. BRADLEY WIGGER teaches Christian education and childhood
studies at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary and speaks frequently
on the subject of faithful parenting. He writes for academic and
general audiences alike, including the picture book Thank You,
God, a book for families, Together We Pray, and one for parents,
The Power of God at Home. He has been named a 2018 Henry Luce III
Fellow in Theology to study the religious imagination of children.
TERA MICHELSON is a writer, photographer, teacher,
super-volunteer, mama and wife—not necessarily in that
order. When she is not driving a carpool, you will find her baking
cupcakes, walking a scruffy dog named Otto or attending a
meeting at church or the local school. Tera enjoys thinking
and sharing about family faith-building in a complicated world.
She lives in a hilly suburb of Cincinnati, OH, with her pastor
husband and three teenaged children.
BETH LEWIS has spent most of the past 40 years working
in publishing, first for several Fortune 500 companies and since
fall 2002 as President and CEO of 1517 Media. Beth has a passion
for passing on her Christian faith to younger generations,
including her grandchildren, ages 21 to 2 years old.
BRYAN BLISS is the author of three young adult novels.
More importantly, he is the father of two children, both of
whom think he is the wisest and funniest person who
has ever lived. He lives with his family in Saint Paul, MN.
CARLA BARNHILL has been involved in publishing for more
than 20 years. She is the former editor of Christian Parenting
Today, the author of The Myth of the Perfect Mother, and
the editor of numerous books for children and families.
She is the Senior Director of Development and Product Design
at Sparkhouse, and the mother of three truly kind children.
DAWN RUNDMAN develops faith formation resources for kids,
youth, and families at 1517 Media, the parent company of
Sparkhouse Family. Dawn presents workshops and keynotes
at congregations and conferences on the topics of early childhood
ministry and the thrilling intersection of faith and science. Dawn
lives in the Twin Cities with her prom date/husband Jonathan and
their two kids.
NAOMI KRUEGER is a development editor at Sparkhouse Family.
She is also a freelance writer and author of I Can Praise God, a
board book for young children. She volunteers as the children’s
ministry coordinator at her church and serves on the board of
directors for a local refugee resettlement agency. Naomi lives
near Saint Paul, Minnesota with her husband and son.
DEB HETHERINGTON is passionate about supporting faith
formation for all of God’s children from babies to adults, at church
and at home. At Sparkhouse she has worked on early childhood, story
Bibles, Sunday School, music, devotional, and Vacation Bible School
products for kids, leaders, and families. She feels blessed to now sing
and play with kids as a volunteer in her congregation and on
mission trips to Haiti.
